There are usually 3 degrees in the Craft, but depending on which tradition you practice, there could be more or less.
Upon joinin a tradition one goes through dedication, then to 1st degree, 2nd degree and then 3rd degree.
Some traditions have 4th degrees. Sometimes when you hear someone say that a person has reached the 10th degree,
it usually signifies that someone has passed on to the Summerlands.
